Camps & Retreats
Camps
Camp opportunities usually centre on personal development as well as team building and leadership. Their focus is to bring groups of students together to work as a team identifying the strengths of the group and seeking to develop their weaknesses.
Retreats
Retreats occur across numerous year levels and are a time of reflection and prayer that encourage students to focus on their connection with God, self and others. Retreats foster personal growth and provides opportunities for leadership and initiative. Some retreat days are conducted at the college with guest presenters, including Marist Youth representatives. As a Marist school we look to imbed the Marist values of presence, simplicity, family spirit, love of work and acting in the way of Mary into our daily lives. In addition to Marist presenters, we have also taken opportunities to focus on leadership and teamwork days through UPP (Unleashing Personal Potential) and Leadership Days.
We acknowledge the First Nations peoples of Australia, the traditional custodians of the land, seas, skies and waterways on which we reside, work, travel and meet. We pay our respect to First Nations elders past, present, and emerging, and support the Uluru Statement From The Heart. We acknowledge that the land, seas, skies and waterways of Australia were, are and always will be, that of the First Nations peoples.
