Davison Road Bus Service Pty Ltd
Davison Road Bus Service Pty Ltd operates a bus service daily from Tully, Mission Beach and El Arish to Good Counsel College and return. If you would like to book your child/ren on this service, please email davisonroadbusservices@gmail.com or phone 0418 158 319 (Kevin) or 0475 399 234 (Leah) for an enrolment pack.
Bus Fare Assistance
Parents whose child attends a school outside the Brisbane City Council (BCC) boundary are eligible for the Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP) or Students With Disability (SWD) rebate.
Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP)
The purpose of the BFAP is to provide financial assistance to families who pay more than a nominated weekly threshold in bus/ferry fares to transport their students to a non-state school located outside the Brisbane City Council boundary.
Applications must be made online at www.schooltransport.com.au .
The Bus Fare Assistance Program (BFAP) weekly family threshold for Semester 1 2025 is $35 ($25 for concession card holders).

PLEASE NOTE: If you are eligible for BFAP, you will also need to complete paperwork through the school. Please contact the college BFAP Coordinator Mrs Julie Nicolau on 4063 5300 or email gcc.accounts@cns.catholic.edu.au .
If you are eligible for the BFAP then you will receive an invoice from Good Counsel College for the threshold amount set by the Queensland Catholic Education Commission.
School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS)
The Department of Transport and Main Roads provides assistance under the School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) in situations where access to education is impeded by distance, income or isolation.
The STAS application form must be completed online.
